Introduction
El Comité de Longmont (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a nonprofit organization based in Colorado. We are committed to protecting your privacy and maintaining your trust. We only collect personal information that is necessary to support our nonprofit operations, provide requested services, and communicate with our community.

  • Donation Information: If you make a donation on our website through our third-party platforms (e.g., ColoradoGives or Bloomerang), your name, donation amount, and contact information may be collected and shared with us.

  • Email Preferences: When you opt in to receive emails or newsletters via Mailchimp.

  • Technical Information: Minimal technical data (such as browser type or IP address) may be collected for security or website functionality, but we do not use it for tracking or profiling.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information or information from children under 13.

  • To process donations and acknowledge contributions.

  • To send email newsletters and a newsletter and organizational updates (only if you have opted in).

  • To respond to inquiries and provide requested services.
