Legal & Justice Services

At El Comité, we believe that access to justice is a right, not a privilege.
Our Legal Services Program offers low-cost consultations with experienced attorneys specializing in immigration, criminal defense, family, and civil law, both in-person and virtually. These one-on-one consultations are designed to provide clear, trustworthy guidance so you can make informed decisions about your rights, your options, and your next steps.
Consults cost $25. No one is turned away for inability to pay. Whether you're facing a legal challenge or simply need help understanding your situation, we’re here to ensure you have accurate information about your options before making decisions.
Consults are offered in person and virtually. Eligibility is limited to people who reside in Colorado and those who live in Boulder County may receive priority.
Note: El Comité does not store confidential details about an individual’s specific case.

Community Outreach

At El Comité, we show up for our community—in person, with care, and with information that empowers. We share vital information about legal rights, family emergency preparedness, and community opportunities.
Each month, El Comité hosts in-person and virtual workshops, where community members can learn about their rights, and how to plan ahead to protect their families and their assets in case of emergency. In order to keep these events safe and accessible, the dates, times and locations are not posted. Please reach out to our office if you are interested in attending.
Additional resources and information can be found on our Resources page.
